Visited this festival today, which is being held at the Tokyo Museum of Photography from Feb. 10th to the 26th and is in its fourth incarnation.

I have been trying to take more of an interest in photography as of late. It’s one thing to randomly take photos while with friends at a party, or snap some shots of food, or take hundred of vacation photos and then toss them all on Facebook or Flickr. Entirely different is the process of taking the time to compose, capture unique and interesting photographs, while understanding all the components that make up photography.

So last week, after weeks and weeks of waiting and making considerable considerations and weighing options, a new baby came to my family of cameras.
