Here is Friday Night Feature 2 for your viewing pleasure. I knew what photo I wanted to use because there had been a short rain shower last week, which I got caught in with my camera, and the sun came out afterwards and looked amazing. The flowers also looked wonderful with large droplets of water on them just begging to be photographed, the flowers were Azalea or wait were they Rhododendron? Aren’t azaleas in the same family as rhododendrons? Confusing? I know I sure am.
The streets and roads of the area where I live are lined with bushes that are in bloom right now, mostly Azalea but also some others. It’s all very beautiful, but also confusing because these same streets also have Rhododendron in the mix, so if you are a plant person you can understand my problem. If you aren’t a plant person you probably also understand, I have trouble remember names of plants and I also never remember to jot down their names.
After the rain; bushes of flowers in pinks, purples, reds and whites with droplets of water just begging to be photographed.
I am aiming to post something every Friday night and hopefully get some interaction from my viewers out there as well. Where possible I will try to have the names of plants and where photos were taken, though if I make mistakes, please let me know, I have a terrible memory for names.
